I have five Red Savinas from Shepherd's seed and they are producing very
consistently. They are the largest of my plants which include Jalapeņo,
Thai Dragon, Orange Habs, Super Chiles, Tabascos, etc.....with the
exception of the overwintered Serranos.

BTW, this is the first year I've grown Shipkas/Bulgarian Carrot chiles.
The first one ripened to that wonderful, deep orange yesterday so, after
work, I picked it and ate it out of hand. What an experience! The chile
was soooo sweet with a delicate, almost floral flavor to it not to mention
a quite respectable heat. After more of them ripen I might try my hand at
some preserves. Any good chile preserve recipes out there?

In Chiles,

Doug
