Yes. a crazy company called Tough Love they wouldn't let me pay for my seeds.

postage is higer than expected say from Amazon com and they do not put
backorders together. I only buy from them if I am really desperate.

People are scared. I even heard one of my staff say to a phone customer
today "No I wouldnt give my CC number out either". (I have to remeber to
hit him)
Really it all depends on the honesty of the shopkeeper. Anyone can use you
credit card number once you have made a purchase from them.
However people get a hold of urban myths and won't let go. If people are
scared they won't order.
Can you suggest a fax number? We have a dedicated fax line which people
use ; although those from overseas have trouble getting the codes right.
