Thanks Dave!

Just a couple of corrections though- it is John Hard. We also didn't
split the ad- we each bought a half-page ad & they just put us on the
same page. Not quite running with the big dogs yet ;-) My ad was paid
mostly by subscription credits from people subscribing to the mag from
my site.

I'll take this opportunity to give a brief report of the Madison hotluck
as well. Fantastic, as always. Brief enough? Noh- more needs to be
said. I couldn't make it down on Friday but by all accounts it was a
good time. There should be some recipes posted shortly from it. Met a
lot of new & interesting chileheads. There's an oxymoron for you!
Rockin' Randy came up from Atlanta & thought he had the award for
'furthest away' until he was introduced to Henning from Denmark :-)
Alex & Linda made it over from Ohio & Brandon made it up from Kentucky &
Rob & Tom made it down from Columbus, IN. The list is still scoring a
100% in that I have yet to meet anyone from this list who isn't one of
the nicest people I've ever met! Brought Rockin' & Henning back up to
Indianapolis for a night for a cultural education. 'Course I don't know
who got more of the education as part of the night consisted of a couple
of shots of Danish potato vodka and taking pictures in a graveyard :-)

Looking forward to the nex big event: Open fields on September 23rd &
24th. A few evil corporate types have agreed to help me put together
gift bags for all who show up as well (thanks CaJohn!).

Thanks again to everyone for everything!
