like joan, i use a blender...an ancient original waring that weighs about
ten pounds and was designed to crush ice cubes...unlike joan, i don't run
them thru a grinder first, just toss them in the blender and buzz,
strain, sneeze, buzz, strain, sneeze...pour the large particles that
don't make it thru the strainer back into the blender and repeat until
you have no more dried chiles or you are sneezing so hard you can't find
the blender...
just DON'T open the blender until the dust has had a chance to settle...
