Thanks for the prompt resposes. I have forwarded the responses on to my sister with great speed. OK here is another question. She dried her red cayenne peppers in the oven overnight (I use my dehydrator) She said that they dried fine, but turned black. Normal or not? She has an electric oven and followed the directions from a website on drying them. Angel
