I've had my chile plants infected w/ TMV.  Got it by smoking a Camel,
then potting up about 240 seedlings.

Wiped out my whole crop.

TMV is still serious biz - and I wouldn't touch tobacco and garden w/out
washing my hands w/ soap and alcohol and changing my clothes.

Even tobacco smoke on clothes - so my greenhouse growing buddies tell me
- can wipe out a crop, and no one w/ smoke on their clothes is ever
allowed in a greenhouse.
