   I have some fresh habs and japs. Plus some dried Anj (you know, the dried
black peppers.)

Yesterday I was fooling around in the kitchen, setting up some leftover 
steak as fajitas.  I had a bag of mixed habs, japalenos, and Fresnos with 
nothing to do, so I fired off a quick batch of sauce.  As I simmered them to

soften them, the kitchen filled again with that fresh smell, first the 
japalenos, then the habs.

Took me back to last summer.

Now I have a little jar of sauce, but I wonder if I'll have as much fun 
eating it as I had making it.  Maybe I'll examine it again in the cool light

of lunch and see what I think of it...
