My partner, Lew Wheeling and I entered the York, PA Jaycees Chili Cook-off,
salsa competition, and the CASI Chili Cook-off on Saturday the 26th. Lew
took 1st in the CASI and I finished 9th. We are both now only one point away
from qualifying for Terlingua.
We finished first in the open event and first in the salsa competition too!
(Winning the open gets a check for $1000.00 donated to our charity, WITF
which is the local public radio/tv station.)
The recipes for the winning chilis are on our site.
The next event is Saturday, June 2 at the Maryland State Chili Cook-off in
College Park, MD. This is a CASI cook-off.
