Cats are more like children than a lot of people realize.  If a kid or a cat
realizes they can get away with something, they will push the limits.  I had
a cat for 15 1/2 years and if a cat acts like the one at your friends who
you describe, its likely down to its owners.

==>ON TOPIC:  Picked up some bone & blood meal today in the war against the
wascally wabbits.  So far, those critters have wiped out our beans, eaten
all or parts of three pepper plants, countless flower stems and even a row
of popcorn (Yes you read that right).  Make no mistake about it.  This is
war and don't be surprised if you see a restaurant popping up soon
specializing in rabbit dinners.
