Hi Alex,
Check out this link:
It includes the history and recipe for Szug, a Yemenite hot
sauce. It says the stuff was originally a condiment for fish and
soups. The recipe has all the ingredients us Chileheads love.
Well, that is, except for the Cilantro Hater faction. You know,
the ones who say it tastes soapy!
