I checked them out yesterday... asked if their heat scale was Thai or
Round-eye. Was told Thai -- so ordered the Garlic-pepper pork "medium".
And it was "round-eye" heat scale. Fortunately there was a container of
ground red (probably "Thai Hot" or "Dragon") pepper on the table.
Liberal use kicked things up to notches I could enjoy. Very flavourful
(I'm still belching garlic burps today) and I'll definitely go back.

Their cook trained at the Magic Kitchen and it shows. (except in the
heat department) The original chef is still at Magic Kitchen. Hell, he
and his wife own the place -- why leave (short of divorce, that is)???

I'm going to go for the Pad Woon Sen next followed by the Basil Pork (or
chicken or beef)

Any heads travelling to Springfield, IL in the heart of the Great
American Outback - We is discovered heat and tasty grub do go well
together. I'll be putting a review of Thai Kitchen on Jeff's Chile-Heads
eating places page soon -- there are several hot spots to try on
there... that I have tried and reviewed. The reviews are as honest as I
can make them... lumps, warts, ptomaine and all.

ENJOY!!!
