Happened to have been in LV back in February (for a Music Librarian's
convention - whoo hah!) and stayed at the Riviera. I can't recall the
restaurant's names, but within two blocks heading towards the glitzier part
of the Strip, there was a good Korean place (in the same block of stores as
a cigar maker and liquor store, if that's any help at all) and a bit down
the road, heading towards the Hilton from there, I found an Ethiopian place
in another shopping center type of place, next to an African goods store
that appeared to be under the same management.

Sorry to be so vague, but they are definitely places that don't shy away
from spicing it up the way you request it and well worth searching out.
Moderately priced too, to boot.

Good luck and let us know if you get to either place,
