When I've had only a few peppers to dry, I've done it in the toaster oven.
Turn it on at the lowest heat.  They dry faster than with the dehydrator,
but the results are still good.

Some of my peppers were limp from not getting picked in time, and they
turned out fine too, especially if you plan to grind or smash them.
Perfect.
