[CH] Garden Update

I was wondering how everyone elses' chile gardens are
doing this summer. If you live in the Northeast,
probably not very well with all the rain we've had.

But even with all the rain and little heat, I've got 4
Ring of Fire chiles and 1 is finally ripening. I
realized that the plant I thought was Orange Devil Hab
is really Piquillo and the actual Orange Devil Hab has
3 small habs on it, all green right now. I might never
see them ripen if I get no more sun this summer. I am
living in thunderstorm hell around here. No sun, just
rain or clouds. Ugh. I've got 2 Lemon Drop plants and
they are doing well considering the weather. The Guam
Boonie are doing ok, as are the Fish Peppers, Stripe
Peppers, Orange Thai and Orange SErrano. The ones in
the raised bed are very small plants with hardly a
chile on them, mainly buds or flowers. Sad really. The
tomatoes in the bed are doing pretty well considering
they all got eaten by varmints in the beginning of
June and came back to life for me! Yeah. I have 14
kinds of tomatoes in the bed, 10 kinds of chiles, and
assorted herbs and morning glories.

I'm hoping to get something out of the plants in the
raised bed. I hope we start getting some sun and heat.

If not, the plants in the pots are doing really well
considering I transplanted them July 5th from very
small pots. They aren't especially tall but they are
getting quite wide and full of flowers. I have seen
some lady bugs, dragonflies and bees hovering, as I've
also seen some spidermites and aphid eggs, and I've
squashed them as much as possible. I've also sprayed
with Neem a bit. Seems to be helping quite a bit.

So, how is everyone elses' garden???
