Hi Folks , found this page http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/chipotles.html that gives detailed (photos too!) instructions for making chipotles using a Weber Smoky Mountain water smoker. looks pretty cool ! has me inspired to try something similar with my lowly Meco smoker. but i've gotta ask ... the page features a photo of red peppers in a bowl (before smoking) ... do these look like jalapenos? is it my imagination, or do these chiles have "pointy" shoulders and flatish sides, vs. smooth, rounded jalapeno-type shoulders with a more conical shape? regards peter g
