Matt,

It might be worthwhile to wait for some other smoker suggestions as I know that there are more popular non-electric ones such as the 'green bullet' or something like that might better suit your needs.

My Little Chief suits my needs perfectly as I don't need large quantities. I've smoked pods with my Weber and also with my large Ducane gas grill using the rotiss flame with wood chunks in the rotisserie tray. All will do an adequate job of imparting smoke flavor.

I've been in similar smoker discussions on other pod-head lists and the methods & smoker preferences can vary quite a bit. I'm of the school that believes if it works for you, then do it.

My 2003 small file pepper pix for summer of 2003. Warning, it's an unsorted (until winter) mish mash and a long load for the dial-ups. http://www.fototime.com/inv/C26B9AB28865DD3

OK, so I am sold here -- does anyone else on the list have one of these and
have anything bad to say about it? I checked it out, and it looks pretty
cool....

I've got a Weber kettle and an offset smoker, but this thing looks like it
would be sweet for vegetables, fish, and curing.
