[CH] A weighty question

Hi Y'all. Just thinking about Chile Pepper eating and weight loss. Being a
little overweight and wanting to put things right, I was more than consoled
when first coming onto the REAL HEAT scene. Meeting all you lovely Guy's and
Gal's and getting to grips with the sheer delights of Hot Chile Peppers.
It's been real fun and I have never enjoyed my food so much. Believing that
it would also get my weight down.

But I didn't lose much in the way of weight. That is untill I realised that
I was not being serious enough. A month ago I changed tactics and began
making my Chile Sauce hotter. Being a Moderate I have to be careful and
started making my Salsa with 70 Cayenne peppers and 10 Habeneros (mainly
using the Cayennes because I had a freezer full of them), making sure that I
kept as much of the heat in as possible.

Normally I had Chile with my Dinner (12 noon) and Tea (5 pm). lots of it.
But now I have it on my Breakfast toast, really piling it on. As a snack in
between my Breakfast and Dinner. As a snack between Dinner and Tea and again
just before my evening Supper (9:30pm).
I love it, honestly I do. Now, my weight, which had stayed immoveable at 15
stone for yonks, has started dropping, slowly but surely. I am now 13 and a
half stone and feeling much better for it. Hey Guy's and Gal's, I can
actually tell where my hips are.

I am now aiming to start using all Habs. Beginning with maybe twenty or so
(this is taking all my Pension) and building up till I get to some real
Moderate Heat. This way I hope that the weight will keep slipping off and I
shall regain my pre 1950's figure (watch out Adonis).

Sadly I cannot cannot get hold of Red Savinas, so I will never know what
really HOT Sauce is like. But.... I am actually waiting for the Postman to
bring me a long, long awaited sample of Jim's 'Red Savina with Garlic'.
This I am hoping should really pep me up. Every day I keep my hope alive
that I shall soon be able to try this legenday mix. Yikes! That will really
be a red letter day for this old guy.

For those who pray.....Please remember my poor ROCOTO which has flowered and
now bears fruit, lots of it, around half an inch wide and three quarters of
an inch long. It is perched precariously on the Ottoman at the bottom of my
bed, where it is warmest and can get what sunlight there is. I long for it
to succeed and for me to be able to reap the glorius harvest. Thanks. Walt.
