Sorry it has taken so long to reply to this.

I just saw my name in the notes to the recipe. 

I think that most recipes call for 10 oz cans of
condensed soup (I never see them in larger cans around
here). I would've used 10 oz cans.

I also would cook the onion and flour mixture until it
has no lumps and let it cook awhile after the liquid
is included - and cook it until the mixture thickens.
You must cook the flour taste out of the mixture.

Otherwise, since I wasn't there, I really can't say
what you did wrong, Paul.
