I tried a couple of new (to me) sauces last weekend and was impressed with both. The first was Kato's Island Sauce. I like to make mustard based finishing sauces when I BBQ anything pork and this one is real close to perfect. Made with habs, mangos, brown sugar, mustard etc. Heat level is (my) medium.

The 2nd one was Pete's HydroHot. Another medium hot that was unique (to me) in it's pure taste. No bitterness, no weird aftertaste, just a clean medium burn.

What's "in" right now re: hot sauces? Looking for
ideas for a Valentine's Day present for my hub. His
favourite hot sauce is Busha Browne's Pukka sauce, but
for some reason, that stuff is hard to come by here in
NH.

Thanks,

N.
