You know, I read this right after making my own batch, with two TBSP of (red savina) habanero powder, and had to laugh. The batch you made must have been a lot larger than the batch I made...because in the one I did, the habanero completely overpowered everything else. It's still mild compared to my normal breakfast (which reminds me...I was about to fix said breakfast), but it's not balanced with the chocolate...wrong effect. Funny thing is, when I tasted the (uncooked) batter, it was perfect...but once cooked.... Strange...I'd think it'd work the other way 'round. (Now I just need to get some fresh habs on the plants in the garden so I can make that habanero lime cheesecake!) Oh well, the habs/breakfast calls.....
