Mostly $5.99/lb for orange habs last winter.  I must say they were incredible and worth every ¢.  Very hot with a strong fruity odor & great flavor.  Asked two produce managers (at Hen House & Food4Less) if they knew the country of origin.  They didn't.  Am guessing they were coming from Viet Nam.  Anyways, these habs were hotter & more flavorful than any I've ever grown.  I didn't save seeds because I've always been so disappointed in mine.

WOW!  7 bucks a #!  2.99 here, but usually gas-ripened and nearly
undetectable hab flavour...kinda like a hab placebo <smile>...too hot for
3-4 year olds, but not very satisfying to us seasoned bonnet-poppers...
