I am on a Sony Vaio one of those kewl wireless keyboards, mouse, and no tower. I am completely baffled as to what is wrong as I switched the gMail formating and still nada. When I first started using gmail, it was plain text only -- I didn't even realize that HTML was an option until JohnT pointed it out. Judging by his post below, it appears that Mary-Anne might be using gmail with HTML. By the way, as with most desktop clients, gmail defaults to the format of the original message on replies. Perhaps Mary-Anne should try replying to a CH post from gmail rather than initiating a new thread....just a thought. Matt
