Went to my favorite Mex/Mex restaurant and ordered my usual Cocktail de Camarone (shrimp Coctail). This is usually peeled medium shrimp cooked and served in a dressing that is almost a cross between gazpacho and pico de gallo with lots of cilantro and sliced avocado. I usually like to splash on some lime juice and a really good glug of Tapatio hotsauce. I did not realize until more than halfway through that I had inadvertently dumped like a quarter bottle of El Yucateco Green Hab sauce into my shrimp instead of the Tapatio. There was nothing to be done by then other than wiping my brow and nose and just plow on through… Was the sparkiest mouthful I’ve had since one of Doug’s evil cookies or one of Chip’s Brazilian Wild chiles! Will spare the list any details on how things “work themselves out…”
