The tundra is barely frozen -- but it did drop into the lower 50's here last night. I really don't have a recipe for the pico: I chop a few 6-8 jalapenos, a green bell , one large onion and about 8 -10 Roma type tomatoes, add splash of lemon juice and once in awhile I get by adding a little bit of cilantro. Found out that raising cilantro is like growingrwoing tomatillo, once you've planted it, you have it. Wow -- a friend just stopped by with a half pick-up load of cucumbers! Gave m,e two buckets for pickling. Looks like I'm going to be busy today. Nels in ND > Good to hear from ND. Nels. Will you share the pico recipe? My jals are > getting ready to pick, here in the beautiful Midwest.
