Elise when making quarts I double on on the chiles and add several and
same with garlic. In fact I like those dehydrated garlic slices and
just toss in several. I use 2 heads of dill for quarts, but still
only the same amount of horseradish and bell pepper. We like lotsa
flavour so one can't add too much. They are awesome pickles, but do
need to age!

Mary-Anne,

Are these quantities dill, garlic, chile, etc., for quart or pint jars? I
usually do dills in quarts as they go so quickly round here, so I'm wondering
if I need to double these amounts for quart jars.

Thanks,

Elise
