As Lyle Lovett croons: the (read ME) boys from North Dakota drink whiskey for their fun...the cowboys down in Texas polish up their guns... Apparently the boys from Wisconsin simply "whuff" horseradish...that explains much. OBTW, we North Dakotans can can make some right-powerful varnish remover, nee, horseradish too. I recall the old German farmers bringing their concoctions to the local one-horse bar and shoveling their condiment on pickled eggs and pigs' feet and washing it down with brewski...that bar always did smell a bit funky... Pathetic what the folks at Arbys try to pass as 'horsey' sauce, incidentally. cheerio ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Sphar" <chilehead@pacbell.net> To: "Sandy Olson" <sandyo@myclearwave.net>; <z42dkm@yahoo.com> Cc: "Chilehead List" <chile-heads@globalgarden.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2006 2:37 PM Subject: Re: [CH] WI Boys > Rael, you should never admit publicly that you don't like horseradish. If you like hot chile, you should be down (as my kid says) with horseradish. My dad grew it in our back yard. It grows well. He stuck it in a blender with some vinegar, whuffed it and fainted. That's how I know the above to be true. > > John Sphar > > > > ----- Original Message ---- > From: Sandy Olson <sandyo@myclearwave.net> > To: ChileHeads <chile-heads@globalgarden.com> > Sent: Sunday, July 30, 2006 11:49:35 AM > Subject: Re: [CH] WI Boys > > > See, Rael, your reaction to that evil horseradish was the same as I have to > fire-eater chiles...fear of loss of control of functions that should be > retained ;^) > > SandyO > CH #1146 of the moderate persuasion --- http://USFamily.Net/dialup.html - $8.25/mo! -- http://www.usfamily.net/dsl.html - $19.99/mo! ---
