Recently I've noticed a lot of Swiss and Italian chocolate makers producing chocolate bars with chiles in them, particularly in Italy. In the past week I've bought Lindt, Perugina, and Stainer chocolate with chiles, with Stainer producing the most variations, one with habs, one with smoked chiles, one with scotch-bonnets and rum, and another that I didn't buy that said 'mild'. Are such items becoming the rage in the US as well, or is it a european thing? Tom P.S. I got these all in normal cafes and such, not specialy stores. P.P.S. I just got back from the store, and Lindt has just come out with a dark-chocolate, sour-cherries and chile version, three of my favorite things!
