I DVRd that one too.  Maybe someday will put the chile segment on YouTube, 
but still trying to get used to Vista and new 'puter.  Driving me nuts! 
(something abt an old dog & new tricks)

Terrible over-acting, but interresting nontheless.  No mention of honey to 
ease the pain either.  I love Alton Brown even when he is wrong!

Watched for the first time tonight, and the episode continued to claim that
the reactions to capsaisin were a result on it's effect on the taste buds.
(This is the same mistake that Alton Brown made on his Good Eats show on
Chiles).  They totally miss the fact that the eyes (and other sensitive 
parts
of the body) have no taste buds)  I'm willing to give Alton a skate on this 
as
he has done a lot of good coverage of the science of food preparation. but
this new operation ought to see what it can do to present a realistic
representation as to the true nature of El Grande...
