HOLY COW!   A NEW member of this list; that's wonderful, amazing and hardly 
every happens anymore.  Welcome, P.H. Fred!  This is the granddaddy of chile 
pepper lists and on it you'll find all kinds of experts in growing, eating, 
smoking, canning, pickling and drying/grinding all kinds of chiles.  Advise 
is plentiful as is help for any problems or question you might have.  This 
is family from our granddaddy Doug to our philosophical brother, Rael.

We do have an zany sense of chile humor too, the reason why you found posts 
that are a tad outside the box.  The wealth of knowledge here will knock 
your socks off...if the chile heat doesn't do it first ;^)  You've found a 
good online home.
