For sake of completeness, fruits of C. pubescens are also supposedly called
chile peron in Mexico and/or perhaps Central America.

I like to use the name 'rocoto' since that is from the area C. pubescens
originated (well, and also Bolivia where 'locoto' is used, but my
initiation was via Peru).
