Hi Angel...I have been drying and grinding my own peppers for years, and 
how I do this is simple. Pierce the pepper, leaving some stem. Place in 
dehydrator until quite dry. Then let sit for a couple of days in a dry 
spot, and get your grinder going. I use a dedicated old Braun coffee 
grinder for my peppers, and it makes the powder as fine as I wish, or I 
stop the process when I get the desired grind. Have fun....just do NOT 
forget to wear a mask, particularly with habs or bonnets! Or you will 
regret it big time! Voice of experience!
