I guess I was wrong on that part...must just be a Southern thing. That's fine...we certainly have our share of distinctly-Southern cookin', so it wouldn't surprise me. But no, around here, seeing corn evaporate from stores in large quantities right before the 4th, you can bet that the vast majority of that corn is headed straight for the grill.
