I hear ya buddy! I have put my chile plants to bed (under sheets and
tarps) the past few nights as temps here in Upstate, NY have gotten pretty
cold but we haven't had a true frost yet. But tonight, as you say, we are
getting a frost warning and temps in the rural valleys (ME!!!) are
predicted to get anywhere from 25-32. I don't want to pick mine either and
have been going out daily and picking any that have started to turn. I
have Habs, Cayenne, Jalpapenos, Thai Hots, Super Chile and green peppers.
My poor pumpkins event set new blossoms over the past few weeks as we have
gotten rain and sun!

I hope to pull off a week or more with my plants by keeping them covered.
I have a ton of apples to get at too!

Best of luck to you!
Linda
