I've made this at home several times, simply by adding about 1/2 tsp. of
ground hab to the coffee grounds (after grinding the beans, and just mixing
it in in the filter basket.... Hmmm, wonder how much more "blended" it
would get if you put the powder in with the beans before grinding?) 

As with much of the good stuff enjoyed by the members of this list, I
suspect that peppered coffee would be a specialty item, but that's not to
say we couldn't or shouldn't market it... maybe try blending different
coffees with different chiles... like Jamaican Blue Volcano (Jamaica Blue
Mountain laced with powdered Scotch Bonnet), Creole Blend (New Orleans
chicory coffee with cayenne) etc. Hmmm... I sense an opportunity in the
offing...
