Last night we had a low of 24 F and by mid-morning about 4" of new
snow, which is almost melted off now.  But this is not unusual in
April in Michigan, and all the baby chiles are safe in the house
until June 1, our average frost-free date.  It has frosted several
times in June, once in July and several times in August in the
eighteen years we have lived here....
