Very sneaky, waiting until I am out of the country to post the invite...
Right now I am sitting behind the front desk at a hotel named Alanga, in
Palanga, Lithuania. The hotel clerk is nappping on a cot behind me, and I'm
hoping that no one will walk up to check out.

Well, not much luck finding hot sauces here. There are a few tomato/pepper
sauces, but they are in fat jars that I don't want to carry back.

However, in riding around the countryside in the tour bus, I did see some
little farmhouse gardens with pepper plants (among many other veggies) so I
know the spirit of El Grande is here.

Today we go to Vilnius, the capital, and I plan to do some shopping for
amber and other things. Maybe I'll get lucky in my search for heat, too.

Dang, I wish they had a pot of coffee going here... the visit has been
great, I'm in Lithuanian language immersion and it's working.

I hope to see many of you at the Fields, if the US will take me back....

- A
