JohnT -- My fatallis from last year and this year are distinctly yellow. The seed I am growing this year is the same OP seed from last year's plants that I sent you. As a matter of fact, I was surprised last year that there wasn't even a hint of orange in the pods -- this is especially true when compared to say, a typical pale orange habanero pod. If you really have concerns, get some new seed from the USDA, grow those and compare. It would be interesting to know for sure.
