From the owner of a local hotsauce shop ( "Pepper Shack" <pepper@exit109.com> ) ============================================ I made this one up the other day and it was so good!! Thought I should share it with all of you. Green Chile Corn Chowder 2 celery stalks - chopped 2 cloves garlic - chopped 1 medium red pepper - chopped 5-6 cooked (microwave or boil) medium red potatos - chopped 2 cups frozen corn niblets (I prefer the white) 1 jar Ol Gringo Green Chile Sauce (med or hot...I prefer hot) available @ The Pepper Shack 2 cans vegetable stock 1/2 pint heavy cream salt & pepper to taste In a large pot sautee celery, garlic, and red pepper till cooked through. Add in corn and Green Chile Sauce cook a few minutes more Add vegetable stock, heavy cream, salt & pepper and cook till nice and hot. If you like your soup thicker (in a separate dish) you can melt 1 talblespoon with butter and mix with flour to make a paste and add that to soup to thicken Perfect for a cold night!!
