I am a transplant from Phoenix, AZ, a wonderful place where the Chile's were
plentiful. Having moved to Las Vegas a few years ago, I have been searching
throughout the valley for a nursery that carries a good variety of peppers.
Unfortunately, all I ever find here are the common garden variety of
Jalapenos, Serranos, Habs, and Bells.

While I am not a new member to the list, it has been quite some time since
my last posting, years possibly.

I have seeds from way-back, some over 10 years old. Seeds from Dr. Bosland
and others from different agricultural extensions throughout the world,
including Taiwan .

This Saturday I started about 13 varieties of Chiltepins and Piquins from my
collection. They are sitting in zip lock backs, tucked inside wet paper
towels, on top of the refrigerator and somewhere around 72 degrees. Not sure
if I'll get anything out of them, but my fingers are crossed.

I brought Chiltepe seeds back from Guatemala a few months ago. If anything
grows, these should be the most viable.

Are there any other Chile-Heads here in Las Vegas? If so, where do you
source your pepper plants?

Other than the ChiliWoman and ChiliPlants.com, who else sells live plants?
